Families enrolled in the Winter 2012 Session may register for the Spring Session during our priority registration period which begins February 20.
Open registration for the Spring Session begins February 27.
There are two ways to pay if you register online:
1) Pay by credit card: Go to the online registration page by clicking on the above button and follow the payment prompts.
2) Pay by check: Go to the online registration page by clicking on the above button and choose “Pay Later” as your payment option. Please be aware that your place in class will be confirmed only upon receipt of your payment. We will need to receive your payment within one week of your registration unless you have arranged a payment plan. Please mail your check to: Music Together in the Valley, 308 William St. N., Stillwater, MN 55082.
Payment plans are available. You’re welcome to pay your tuition in two installments, either by check or by credit card. Half of your tuition will be due upon registration, to hold your place in class. The remaining half will be due by the end of the first half of the session. We require either a postdated check or a credit/debit card number that we can use to pay the balance due at the halfway point of the session. Payment plans are not available for classes in Apple Valley and Woodbury where they are offered through the respective Parks and Recreation Depts.Once you have registered online, you will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation that we have received your registration. We will check to make sure that there is space available in the class of your choice and will contact you only if there is a problem. So, no news is good news! Please be sure to choose a second class time option in case your first choice is already full.
If you miss class for any reason, make-up classes are permitted within the current session, space permitting. Go to "Make-up" in the menu to connect to our make-up scheduler.
Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and classes may fill quickly. Therefore, it is important to give two choices on the registration form. We will do our best to accommodate everyone and appreciate your flexibility.
Please note that under-enrolled classes (fewer than six children) may be canceled so we ask that you list a second choice of class times. If both your first and second choices are canceled, we will refund your tuition in full.
Registration for Woodbury Winter Session classes: We partner with the Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department and its staff processes registrations for both the demos and the winter session in Woodbury. Register online at www.ci.woodbury.mn.us/recreation-department or call 651-714-3583. Online registration for the demos and the winter session opens Dec. 7 for Woodbury residents. You will need a household identification number to register. You can get one by calling the Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department at 651-714-3583. Nonresidents register by phone, mail or drop box beginning Dec. 10.
Special instructions for Apple Valley registrations: We will have an eight-week winter session in Apple Valley instead of the ten-week session held in all other locations. The tuition for the eight-week session will be $140 for the first registered child in a family and $74 for each additional sibling. Infant siblings (those born on or after May 23, 2011) of a registered child attend at no cost, space permitting, as infant auditors. Infant auditors must be registered; we limit the number of free infant auditors to two per class.
For our classes in Apple Valley, we partner with both the Dist. 196 Community Ed. Dept. and the Apple Valley Parks and Rec. Dept. and each have six spaces out of the twelve spaces allotted for each class, so you can register with either agency. If one agency lists a class as full, there may well be additional space available with the other. Parks and Recreation winter registration opens Nov. 26 and District 196 Community Education winter registration opens Dec. 20.
