Tuition

Tuition During the School Year: We have three ten-week sessions during the school year. The fall session begins Sept. 21, the winter session begins Jan. 4, and the spring session begins March 28. Tuition for each of these ten-week sessions is $160 for the first registered child in a family. Tuition for additional siblings is discounted to $90 each per session. Tuition for Woodbury classes is slightly higher at $166 and $92 respectively per ten-week session.

Infant siblings under 8 months on the first day of a session attend at no cost as "auditors" at all locations, space permitting. We allow up to two infant auditors in each class; to qualify for this status, an infant must be a sibling of a registered child. Because we need to keep track of the number of infant auditors in a class, please be sure to include your infant’s name and birth date on the registration form.

All infants are welcomed with open arms because we know that they learn a tremendous amount from class, even when they are only two or three months old. Studies show that infants this young can still discern minute differences in melody! Infants that do not have an older sibling registered pay full tuition.

Summer Tuition: For our eight-week summer session, tuition for the first registered child is $140. Tuition for additional siblings is $74 each. Infant siblings under 8 months on the first day of a session attend at no cost as "auditors," space permitting.

Fees: There is a one-time-only registration fee of $15 for families new to Music Together in the Valley, Inc. This fee is waived in our Parks & Rec locations in Woodbury, Shoreview, Maplewood and Blaine.

Tuition refunds will be given only if requested prior to the first day of the session in which you are enrolled. Credit toward future sessions may be issued in exceptional circumstances. For classes in Woodbury, the Woodbury Parks and Recreation refund policies apply.

Tuition Includes...
  • Ten weekly 45-minute classes (eight during summer).

  • Music Together at Home: Helping Your Child Grow Musically, a training DVD with an accompanying booklet for families new to the program.
  • Parent education to help parents and caregivers better understand and enhance their children’s music development.
